Tips for Studying

Focus on one topic at a time until you completely understand that concept then move to the next one. For example, if students are having a hard time with recognizing prime numbers they can use the resources around them to master the skill. Some of the resources are asking the teacher (moi), asking a parent, reviewing their notes, reviewing tutorials online. Here is an excellent video to help students continue learning about prime numbers. The best thing is they can pause, playback as many times as they want. This is a tool that we will be using more and more in class. Students are encouraged to bring their headsets in order to listen to the audio in class.
